Speical Olympics Golf Tournament
The biggest event for the Klamath Falls Special Olympics! The Moose Lodge 1106 of Klamath Falls will present the 4th Annual Special Olympics Golf Tournament on Friday, July 18th and Saturday, July 19th at Shield Crest Golf Course. The tournament will kick off on the 18th at 6PM with a Spaghetti Feed and Silent Auction. Tickets are available for $5 per person. Call: 883-3762 for spaghetti feed tickets. The tournament begins with a shotgun start at 8AM on Saturday the 19th. Check in starts at 7AM, lunch will be provided after golf and door prizes and awards will follow. To register, stop at the Moose Lodge at 1577 Oak Street. Entry fee is $60.

Annual Rock Point Fire Department & BBQ
The Rocky Point Fire and EMS invite you to attend their 27th annual BBQ and auction on Saturday, July 19th from 9AM-4PM! The day will kick off will a huge flea market and bake sale beginning at 9AM, followed by a parade at 10:30AM. The BBQ lunch will be served from 11AM-2PM. On the menu is tri-tip or chicken for a cost of $10, or hamburgers for $6. All meals include beans, salads and bread. Other activities include bingo, 50/50 tickets, beer / wine booth, vendors and live music. All funds raised will be used for fire and emergency equipment. Relay for Life of Klamath County
Relay for Life of Klamath County is Friday, July 25th - Saturday, July 26th! We currently are looking for teams, teams, teams! The goal is to have 500 survivors and 75 teams on the track. Reenactments - Battle of the American Civil War
Southern Oregon is in rebellion! The Cascade Civil War Society invites you to attend this Civil War reenactment event on Saturday, August 16th and Sunday, August 17th. Gates open each day at 9AM and close Saturday at 5PM and Sunday at 3PM. Two battles will be performed daily. Other activities include an evening dance at 7PM on Saturday and a nondenominational church service Sunday morning, a ladies fashion show and tea social, military court marshal, a pay call in South Carolina's camp and more! Visit the various Northern, Southern and Civilian camps and learn of the history from our country's greatest war. Food vendors and yummy grub from the Basin will also be available. The Oregon State Chili Cookoff will be held on Saturday, August 23rd and hosted by the Bonanza Volunteer Fire Department! This is the 4th Annual Chili Cookoff in Bonanza in conjunction with the Homemade Hobby Festival in the Big Springs Park. The Town of Bonanza will host a Homemade Hobby Festival and the Oregon State Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, August 23rd from 9AM - 4PM. Currently, they are accepting applications for:
- Free vendor spaces for selling homeade products (no commercial vendors)
- Hobby groups wishing to participate with entertainment or displays
- Non-profit groups wishing to do a fundraiser
- People wishing to participate in the 4th Annual Oregon State Chili Cookoff
